“ I recently revisited the Marion Street Bistro at 281 N Marion Ave, in Lake City, FL. I will try and plan my trips through this area with a visit here. I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted and my drink order was taken and received promptly. I ordered the Wagyu burger and it was brought to me and cooked as requested. It was delicious and confirms why I continue to visit this restaurant. Good job! ”
“ Stopped here on a visit to Lake City. SO glad we did. Really loved the history of the restaurant. Also, loved the seafood chowder and the grilled oysters!! Had a drink as well... Can't remember the name but it was a gin based drink with rosemary simple syrup and served in a smoked glass. So good, one of the best cocktails I have ever had. We will definitely be making the trek back to Marion Street Bistro. Totally worth the 90 minute drive! ”
“ We sat at the bar. The bartender, Kim was absolutely amazing. Up beat, knew the fancy cocktails. She’s a keeper!!! Made the afternoon super special. We had the sushi specials and freshly shucked oysters. Blueberry mojito was just as good as it was fun to watch her create it. Everything was amazing! We stop here every time we travel through lake city. ”
“ Visited Lake City for the day to explore and enjoy a Mother's Day lunch, and saw Marion Street Bistro was busy, and decided to eat there. Service was so great!! Our waitress was friendly and positive, and was so welcoming and kind. Everything we ordered was delicious!! The jalapeno poppers and peanut butter pie were definitely our favorite dishes. My husband had the brisket dinner and that was perfectly cooked, and the cornbread muffin was excellent! I had the Cajun seafood, which was really good! It was the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day!! ”
“ Stepping into this venue was like walking into a warm embrace. From the moment I arrived, the bartender greeted me with genuine interest—not just in my drink order, but in my name. And here’s the twist: they didn’t just ask for it and forget; they used it throughout my visit, making the experience feel personal and inviting. The service was impeccable, the kind of attention to detail that makes you feel like the only guest in the room. Not once did a dirty dish linger on the table, nor was there a moment when I felt anything less than well cared for. For dinner, I decided to indulge in a classic: a ribeye steak, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and a crisp Caesar salad. Let me tell you, the ribeye was a masterpiece. It was seasoned to perfection, every bite bursting with flavor. The texture was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. I savored every bite so slowly that I couldn’t finish it all, which, to my delight, meant there were leftovers. Knowing I’d get to relive this incredible meal the next day was just the cherry on top. This wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience worth savoring—and remembering. ”
“ It was the only place I found in Lake City to sit down comfortably, relax, and eat. Service was good. Food is excellent. The manager came over and introduced himself. I practically made it a daily visit for my main meal. Highly recommended ”
“ Good food and good service. The spinach artichoke fondue was excellent. The steak was good, not excellent, and the meatloaf was decent! Service, atmosphere, and the history of the location are worth checking this place out. The menu was huge, and they even had sushi, which was highly suggested. I would definitely come back and try more of the menu. ”
“ We went in on a Saturday night 8pm & sat on the patio. Our beautiful wonderful friendly server TONY/TONI was awesome. She made this experience for us 10/10. She is the best waitress ( and best dining experience) we have had in a week of being in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami on vacation. We chatted her up the whole time. We finally made it up to the springs and found this hidden gem, Marion’s Bistro. The sweat tea was amazing, Tony refilled our tea 3 times and gave us to-go teas to walk around the town. We had the 8oz Sirloin & Ribeye. Both cooked to a perfect mid-rare. We had mac & cheese, jalapeno corn bread, sweet potato fries, loaded baked potato, and oysters. Peanut butter pie & Key lime pie both solid. Very wide variety menu & everything sounded good. As apart of the service industry myself - You can tell who ever is running this place is doing a pretty fine job, the entire front of house was working together. Running others food/drink refills/politeness to everyone. ”
